He returned to the USA, where he completed his PhD from the department of Earth and Environmental sciences.īrusatte has contributed widely towards the field of paleontology. After being awarded a Marshall Scholarship, Brusatte entered the University of Bristol, obtaining a MSc in paleontology and earth sciences and he collaborated and studied alongside renown paleontologist Michael Benton. During his time spent here, he collaborated and studied alongside renown paleontologist Paul Sereno. He studied at the University of Chicago where he earned a Bachelors of Science in geophysical sciences in 2006. Stephen 'Steve' Brusatte is an American paleontologist and evolutionary biologist affiliated with the University of Edinburgh and specializes in the anatomy and evolution of dinosaurs and fossil organisms.
